Make the fastest sport on earth welcoming to everyone.
Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in America five years running. Rally exists to make sure it stays the friendliest one too — the operating system that gets everyone on court, at their level, having a great time.
It started with a game we kept losing.
In 2023, two engineers showed up to an open-play session in Austin and got thoroughly beaten by a retired schoolteacher and her doubles partner. They came back the next week. And the next.
The pickleball was addictive. Everything around it was broken. Which court has open play tonight? Who plays at my level? Is my rating real or made up? The answers lived in a dozen group texts, a bulletin board, and a spreadsheet nobody could find.
So we built the thing we wanted — one app for the whole sport. Not to gamify it or gate it, but to lower the barrier to that first great game. Rally is what we wish someone had handed us at that first session, along with the paddle.

Four things we don't compromise on.
Every roadmap argument at Rally gets settled by one of these. They're the reason the product feels the way it does.
Welcoming beats winning
The sport grew because a stranger handed someone a paddle. We build for the fourth player who's never held one, not just the 5.0 chasing a medal.
Real over hype
A rating you can trust, a court that's actually open, a coach cue that's actually right. We ship concrete truth, not vanity metrics.
Local first, always
Every great pickleball moment happens on a specific court with specific people. We design for the club down the street before the leaderboard.
Earn the trust each rally
People hand us their schedule, their scores, their Saturday mornings. We treat that data — and their time — like it's borrowed, not owned.
A small crew that plays every day.
Engineers, designers, and community builders who close their laptops to go get on court. It keeps us honest about what we're really building.

Four years, one net at a time.
Two nets, one idea
Maya and Devin met at an open-play session in Austin, lost every game, and couldn't find a single app that told them where to play next.
The map goes live
Rally launches court discovery in three cities. 14,200 courts get mapped in the first six months by players who wanted their home court on it.
Ratings that travel
We ship a rating aligned with the standards organizers already use — one number that finally holds up from your local park to a PPA qualifier.
AI coaching for everyone
On-device rally analysis turns any phone on a fence into a coach. 92% of players book a second session within two weeks.
Come build the home of the sport.
Whether you're here to play or to help build it, there's a spot for you at Rally.
