We want Rally to work for every player, on every device, with every assistive tool. Here's what that means to us — and how to hold us to it.
Our commitment
Pickleball is one of the most inclusive sports there is — it should have software to match. We build Rally so that players of every ability can find courts, get matched, and improve, without hitting a wall we could have removed.
The standard we hold
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our target. It's the benchmark we measure new features against and the bar we hold existing ones to as we revisit them.
How we get there
Accessibility is part of design and code review, not a step bolted on at the end. We test with keyboards and screen readers, check contrast in our design tokens, and treat accessibility bugs as real bugs with real priority.
Where we're still working
We won't pretend we're perfect. Some newer surfaces are still catching up to the standard, and third-party content can lag behind. When we know about a gap, we track it and fix it — and your reports move it up the list.

Keyboard and screen readers
Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard, with visible focus and labels that make sense out loud.
Contrast and type
Text meets AA contrast on our color system, scales cleanly, and never traps meaning in color alone.
Reduced motion
Animations respect your system's reduced-motion setting, so the app calms down when you ask it to.
Works across devices
Layouts reflow for small screens, big fonts, and assistive tech — on web, phone, and wearables.

If any part of Rally is hard to use with your setup — a screen reader, keyboard, switch device, or anything else — we want to know. Describe what you hit and the tools you were using, and we’ll investigate and follow up. Reports like yours are the fastest way we improve.
