Privacy Policy
Your game, your data. This explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it — written to be read, not endured.
Rally is a demonstration product, and this policy is a plain-English template rather than legal advice. It reflects how we think a modern app should treat your information: collect little, be clear about it, and hand you the controls.
01. What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you create an account — your name, email, and the rating and location details you choose to share. If you upload a rally to the AI coach, we receive that video and the analysis derived from it.
We also collect a small amount of usage data automatically: the device you play on, app version, and anonymized event logs that tell us which features work and which quietly frustrate people. We keep this to the minimum that keeps the product honest.
02. How we use it
We use your data to run Rally: to match you with players at your level, keep your rating accurate, coach your game, and show you courts and events near you.
We use aggregate, de-identified trends to improve matchmaking and the coaching model. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your videos to train models that other people benefit from without your consent.
04. Your rights and choices
You can view, edit, download, or delete your data from Settings at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal information and uploaded videos on a rolling schedule, and we confirm when it's done.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA — including access, correction, portability, and objection. We honor these requests for every user, wherever you are.
05. Retention and security
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and uploaded videos only as long as you keep them. When you delete something, we remove it from live systems promptly and from backups within a defined window.
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and regular review. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information as if it were our own.
06. Questions and updates
If our practices change materially, we'll update this page and, where it matters, tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
